Last week, the Cards For Cubs Team attended the UTA Center for Service Learning Community Partner Breakfast as well as the Volunteer Fair. We were able to learn about service learning, and connect with other Community Partners as well as professors at UTA.
During the Volunteer Fair, we were able to meet many students who were interested in volunteering with Cards For Cubs. We always need help sorting cards in our office, so it has been a great way to let students know about what we do. As I write this, we have already had a volunteer swing by, so we are very thankful to have had this opportunity.
It was very exciting for us since this was our fist official event to promote Cards For Cubs as well as talk with potential volunteers.
We look forward to all of the future partnerships that are in the making and are absolutely blow away by all the support and words of encouragement that we have received.
